Frys Worst Customer Service - Hitachi External Hard Drive

My husband bought external hard drive for my birthday. I was very happy to receive it as a gift. I downloaded all my pictures to give my computer room not thinking that Frys sold me a defected hard drive. I called Frys to ask them to take the pics out but they refused to help me unless I paid for the service. When I asked the customer service lady to talk to a supervisor she retorically lectured me that the supervisor won't help me. That I have no choice but to deal with my defected hard drive. When the supervisor got on the phone Robert Ladell advised me I should had bought an extended warranty and that I had to pay for them to export my pics even though they sold me a defected hard drive. Worst customer service of any business. This is the Frys in Las Vegas. I will never buy electronics from Frys ever again. They are willing to take your money but, not willing to help customers when they sell defective electronics.
