Lou Pasante I was offered a loan modification for $2,500 and was scam. My bank was never contacted in reference to a modification and all I got so far is a bunch of lies and promises of refunding my money. When

On February 4 I met an associate of Claremont Funding name Lou Pasante who offered to give me a loan modification. He said within that week I would be able to get my loan modified and he told me the cost was $2,500. I wrote out a checl of $2,500 with the promise that he guaranteed the bank will modified my mortgage to a more affordable payment. After I gave Lou the check, I stopped getting calls from him and when I contacted him he told me his company was still working on the modification. My check was cashed Money Best Inc on February 9th and after couple of weeks waiting and me calling unsuccessful, I got a letter from my bank stating other wise. They wanted to short sell my house and said I had to start the modification process over again as the bank rejected my paper work I sent in previously, There was no contact from Claremont to my bank.

On Thursday evening April 5, I went to the Claremont Office and asked to speak to a Lou Pesante and a guy came out from his cubicle and asked what I want. I explained that I was there to get back my money as I paid for a service I didn't get. He didn't give me a name, but said he was the boss and came up in my face and told me to get the f*ck out of there or he wouild throw me out bodily. My daughter was with me when he told us we dont know who he was and that he could make something happened. We went outside and I called the cop. The cops came and told me there was nothing they could do as this was a civil court and will need to take it up in civil court.

After I left the office I kept getting calls from a restricted number and didn't answer the phone as I know it was Lous Pesante calling me as he never call me from the business phone, but a restricted number. The next day when he called me several times from the restricted number I finally picked my phone up and Lou Pasante told me his company is willing to refund me back my money. He said he could drop off the check or mail it. I asked him to mail the check and this has been a continous lie of promises of he has the check, but the boss didn't sign off on it. He even called me again today while I am writing this letter from a restricted number saying the same thing he said for the past few weeks with empty promises. I even saved his message on my phone with his promise of giving me back my money. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they are unprofessional and a fraud. What hurt me the most is that the person who threatened me, I didn't get his name from the cops or even help when I told the cops I was threatened.
