Power Internet Terminals
Internet Machine Co. Wants $15 Won't Answer Questions

Business & Finance

I called 1-866-713-7575 from an informercial about an investment opportunity with internet access machines, offering free information to be sent. The man on the phone, Matt, asked a few questions and then desperately wanted to send the "free packet" for $15 Fed Ex fee. I asked why it could not be sent US Mail for $3.50 and he said, "Oh, we always send them this way to see if the investor is serious or just curious."

I was then connected to Julie who was to give me more investor information on the phone. She said the machines would cost about $16,000. I asked what the retail value of the machine was and she did not know but said, "Well, we have to make some money on it, but it is a whole business." I asked how long it would take to recover the invested money and was told, "6 months to a year." When I said this was not a good investment she then began telling me how I could advertise on my machine an make $1200 in a week or less. I asked about the placement system and more investment questions and was told, "It is not my department, I am really busy, I can't talk to you any longer."

This was beginning to sound too much like another type of machine investment scheme recently shut down by the SEC, also based in FL. Well, it sounds like a fraud, $15 is not free! And they should be able to answer basic questions on the phone. And again this company is located in FL. Beware... I did not send a dime to this company or the other one either.
