RIP-OFF Lied about credit card very rude customer service reps

Business & Finance

Telemarketer called me and offered a MasterCard with a 2,000 credit limit. I asked the rep was it a guaranteed 2,000 limit up front or do I have to work up to the 2,000 limit. She said a guaranteed 2,000 limit up front. After she mentioned the 249.00 processing fee, I asked was it a secured card and she said no, it's a MasterCard.

After I told a few family members, they advised me to call back for more info. When i called customer service, the rep refused to give me her name or identify the name of the company and hung up on me.

That's when I knew it was a scam. I called back and spoke to Kelly (so she says), and she was so rude, but I was able to get the address. After I got the address, I made numerous requests to speak to a supervisor. Kelly stated that there weren't any supervisors to speak to. I commented that she and other reps were very rude, and just before hanging up she said "You're F$#&ing rude B$*&%. This made so upset that I knew I had to do something. When I visited the website I noticed i wasn't the only person ripped off. So I'm contacting my Attorney General and Federal Trade Commision.
