Business & Finance

I was called and told that I was paying $249 for a credit card with a $3,000 limit and the $249 was for a 3 year 0% interest rate. I was told that it would only take 4 days to receive my card. They extracedt the 249 from my bank account on that day. I did not receive a card within 4 business days so I called and they mentioned the recording I agreed to said 25 business days. I accepted that and waited.

When the package arrived it is only an application for a secured mastercard that I would have to put money on. Not only did the card not come and I'd have to submit a form for it, I have to pay $54.00 for a processing fee. The company records a quick overview at the end of the initial conversation when the card is purchased.

Unfortunately, it does not tell all the falsehoods the customer rep. Told me prior. 1. I could have a Visa even though it says masterard 2. The card would be here in 4 business days 3. I could do a cash advance withdrawel to cover the $249 I was paying up front and since there is no interest rate it was a great idea. The reps that I spoke to went back to the recording which even states I will receive the card (not just an application for one) within 25 days. All the rep. Could do was tell me to write their home office. I agreed to a no refund policy for a credit card with 3,000 limit. Not an application for a $5,000 limit Stored Value card. The customer rep. Flat out misled me and now I am out $249 for absolutely nothing. Even if I can't get this company to refund I want people to know they are COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTING themselves when they speak to you. I am sure there are several other complaints just like mine to validate this story.
