Ripoff

I am a Loan Officer In St. Louis, MO. I have had families that have tried to refinance and their main objective was to get out from under Litton Lending, plus get the benefits of the lower rates as most of the State homeowners have accomplished.

For whatever reason, I would pull their credit to find that their Mortgage Company (Litton Lending) had not even reported their Mortgage to the Credit Bureaus. So I would have to look them up on the computer and with the consumer put in their loan information and Borrower information.

Had to request a pay off, which had to agree to a 15.00 charge for the requested information to never receive the information.

Resulting in the Borrower not receiving the Lower Rate that they were intitled to and had to continue paying 10.5% to date.

Other problems I ran into with Litton Lending was that they were reported on their credit report in foreclosure, and the Borrower stated they were unaware of being in foreclosure. They had a few lates of days, not months, like reported. I had the Bank Statements and Cancelled checks in hand showing date paid. But still could not get a pay off.

The statements I saw had the purchase price as the payoff. As we know after paying years of mortgage, that that should have been down. However this company will not let you get a payoff. I once got a live person, and was to be faxed the payoff and never received it, nor did I ever reach a live person on their automated phone circle game.

Left messages with name and number, no results, Borrower got the same response. All I want to know, has anyone been able to get a payoff and how? There are Clients of theirs that are being hurt up to being put in foreclosure, that has enough equity, and by their choice come to me to get them out from under this Company, Litton Lending. Can someone help me?

Actually, you will be helping my clients get the service that they have been paying for, for years, and helping me as far as How To Deal With This Company! I am trying to be as nice as I can. But this is not quite how I would talk about a Lender that has so openly hurt people.
