The teller persuaded me to open a checking account so that they can give me a better rate with my certificate of deposit. They promised me that I will not be charged. Then they opened a draft protecti

US BANK Persuaded me to opened a checking account so that I can opened a certificate of deposit with a better rate. I was asked to put at least $50,00 to open the account. I was told that i will not be charged nor needed a minimum because it was not for use. I never used the checking account as contemplated. A year or so later, the bank took my money from my checking and opened a draft protection without my knowledge. The bank the proceeded to pay the checking account for late fees and insufficient funds. I was never made aware until I opened one of the statement and I was shocked to see that I owed the US BANK MONEY. The bank took my $50,00 added fees from the draft protection they opened for me, then reported me to the credit agencies for non payment and insufficient funds.

my c. D made $12,00 as interest. I was charged several hundreds of dollars plus they took my fifty dollars from my checking that the persuaded me to open. Then they reported me to the credit bureau for insufficient funds and late fees.
