Telecheck is part of a cash cow

Telecheck has been denying new check writers or new accounts from writing checks due to lack of history. Understandable, however here is the problem. 1 it is really emabarassing to be declined at the cash register. 2 you use your debit or credit card, or worse yet go to the atm located at the front of the stores. 3 you have to call and spend numerous hours on teh phone yelling at telecheck employees with little or no resolve. Yes as you can tell it happened to me.

I returned home after 10 years in the service, the last four was served consecutively overseas, fought and beat colon cancer, only to re-enter the finacial world to be defeated by this cooperation. After hours of research (mostly complaints) on this company I have descovered why this is happeneing. Here is two links. Http://www.justice. Gov/opa/pr/December/03_at_689. And http://www.ask.com/wiki/First_Data. These two sites should sum it up. Telecheck is just a ponzy cooperation that is part of a much larger cash cow. The stores pay the telecheck business fees, consumers are denied and either use a debit or credit card (which first data cooperation recieves the debit fee) or you run to the front of the store embarassed, withdrawing money from the denied checking accout (first data cooperation owns the star network and collects a fee from the atm). So they are collecting money at least twice from your transaction. Once for the check cashing service that denies you and the other from the fees associated from your purchase after the needless embarassment. I wish they would just put a sign at the front door that said, " Five percent of your purchase will go to FIRSTDATA COOPERATION and save me the embarassment.
