Misled, Overcharged, Dishonest

I had my taxes done by Kenny, he said i didn't quaify for a loan 'cause I owed IRS 375.00. So I was called in about 1 1/2- 2 wks later to sign my forms and leave a voided check to have my refund directly deposited. He quoted me an amount and when checking my refund status online w / the IRS, the amount was 512.00 more than what he said. I didn't think much of it. IRS gave me a shed to be DIRECT deposited to MY account. On Feb 1 checked back on the first said it WAS direct deposited.

Long story short, check never even went near my bank. IRS said if check wasn't recieved check with bank and that they could not do anything until Feb 6. If still not received contact them then. They couldn't do anything till then. So on 7th day i did and this time i was directed to go to my bank and then to broker who did my return. Well not at bank so i went to Liberty. Guess what, they had my check. I was so relieved to finally get it off i went doing the math it seemed like IRS got there and 137 i figured liberty got that for fees. It wasn't until i received a letter from some Republic Bank, actually it was a statement of my refund saying since i had AUTHORIZED my refund to go through them, that my tax fees were paid directly to Liberty and i may have gotten a loan in lieu of receiving my refund! Well folks I NEVER authorized this transaction and they charged me $512.00 to do my taxes!

The IRS didn't take a dime, and on their website they state that they! 00% Guarantee their serv and if your not satisfied with their offices the office will refund your tax preparation fees for whatever reason. Its been two weeks and i've been offered 150.00 which is not acceptable.
