I have a major issue with TAB Bank (Transportation Alliance Bank). This is an internet only bank. I have a savings account with them. I normally transfer funds from my savings account to my checking account which is with another bank. I mistakenly locked myself out of the account. This has happened before and I normally just call customer service and they reset the password.

I called the customer service line on Tuesday and I got an automated message stating they had high call volume and to leave a voicemail, however, I got another message saying the voicemail was full and I couldn't leave a message. I proceeded to call a few more times at various points throughout the night and I got he same automated message.

I called twice the following day and I was in the call queue for 30 and 36 minutes respectively. I never spoke to a live person. This has been a huge inconvenience to me since I have a huge bill but I'm unable to access my funds. I called again today and I was in the queue for 43 minutes. I tried every number I could find and they all send me to voicemail.

I highly doubt that they're that busy with customers. This is just piss poor service. It's frustrating that I can't even get a live person for a simple password reset. The website doesn't even give you the option of resetting it yourself. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. Deal with your local bank or credit union and you can avoid all of these issues.
