Rip-off! Unauthorized debit!

Business & Finance

We found an ACH debit of $87 from our Bank of America account. Yes, they also knew all our bank information. When we called BofA to identify the transaction all the bank could give us was the 800 number. Numerous calls only got us an automated answering machine with a message box that was full so that you could not leave a message to be called back. The bank was absolutely no help in identifying the business.

I went to google.com and typed the telephone number (800) 871-9984, provided by BofA and to our surprise discovered this website with all of the information we needed. My husband called BofA back and gave BofA the information. The rep claimed not to hear about this scam and did not seem too worried about it. However, the rep mailed us an "Unauthorized ACH Debit" form to fill out.

I then sent an e-mail to BofA setting forth all of the pertinent information so that they could "protect other customers and BofA" from this scam to which I have heard nothing. You would think they would be a LITTLE interested! Go figure.

Thank you consumer complaints.

P.S. I have been trying for two weeks to use the search feature on your website and am blocked with the message of too high volume activity.
