Virginia Mobile Homes, Conseco Finance aka Green Tree RIP-OFF! Scam to sell mobile home that was not affordable!

In December my husband bought a Mobile Home from Virginia Mobile Homes (VMH). He had stated to them in September that he could not afford doing this that he was electing not to buy. The company representative, Linda Woodard, immediately called him and said she could "fix" things so that he could afford the home.

To make a long story short, she fixed things alright. She stated to Conseco Finance who is now Green Tree that he had put down 1920.00 where he had only put down 1125.00. Also, she and another employee have also forged or doctored one of his employer verification forms.

We do believe it was the one from the U.S. Navy. Yes, the U.S. Navy. The Administrative Assistant, who happens to be a good friend of ours, saw these two people working on a computer dragging logos down, doing something on the computer, told her to go to her desk that they had everything under control.

Later on they handed her my husband's file.in it was a Employer verification form that was not there the day before. We all believe it has to be from the Navy, because VMH was upset that it was going to take between 2 to 4 weeks to get this information and they could not get the sale finalized until this information was received.

We have been to hell and back with this company since he bought this thing. We have twice tried to list it with VMH to sell it. They are the only Mobile home company in the area that also does resale of mobile homes.

They have us send clients to them per their agreement and if they have a high enough credit score, do they sell our mobile home to them? NOOOOO!!! They sell them a brand new one. They tell us that all these leads have just disappeared.

Well, I know better. I have had someone watching them for sometime now. I know of at least 3 clients that saw our place, wanted to buy it, and now they are in a brand new home.

As of last night we canceled the listing with them, because we have a potential buyer. We are not taking another chance with them. We have also notified the FBI about the Mortgage fraud. We know of at least 4 other loans that they did the same thing to with Conseco at the time of the sale of my husband's trailer. If anyone out there has bought a trailer from them and financed through Conseco, you might want to contact the Washington DC office of the FBI. You also might be a victim of this Mortgage Fraud.

I just want Virginia Mobile Homes to be brought to justice and for Green Tree to just go away, if not brought to justice also for their tactics. I am terribly afraid that even if we get the certified funds to them, that we will continue to get statements saying we owe money. I have heard and seen so much about them that is scares me to no end. I want this over with once and for all.
