Bad business ethics ripoff

After filling for bank ruptcy for the first time, We learned a hard lesson about dealing with AMeriquest Mortgage. We followed all post bankruptsy hearing arrangements and still lost our home in a foreclosure sale.

Ameriquest held our first two scheduled payments then started returning them and issued a request to the bankruptsy judge to lift the automatic stay keeping us out of sale and giving us 48 months to pay back arrears. When a neighbor called us and said we were in the local paper for sale we learned without our knowledge, a releif of stay was granted to Ameriquest.

The reasons cited in the documents presented to the bankruptcy judge were un true and we never had a chance to rebut Amweriquest would not talk to me saying I wasnt a lawyer so they didnt have to speake with me. We were representing ourselves Its our money and credit but I didnt have the write to represent myself. We are currnetly still trying to have the sale over turned and force Ameriquest to accept the orignal bankruptcy terms and arrangements.

We are still living here and Soon will problably asked or forced to move out of our home of 7 years. The detials of how this happened are enormous and time consuming. The bottom line is, if you are having any kind of difficulty with Ameriquest dont trust them, send everything to them certified mail phone conversations are just that conversation no real proof. Get everything in writing and be careful. We owe them 142,000. They are trying to capitalize on the sale of our home, it is worth well over 200,000.00
