I obtained a $50 prepaid Credit card like a present from the guardian of 1 of my students. The card is released by Metabank. The bill, that the guardian recorded towards the presentation confirmed $50 bought on 12/14. About the presentation, it's mentioned that there's a $4.95 purchase charge and 'no costs after purchase. On 12/20, I applied the card to buy a $50 gift-card in a cafe. I popped the presentation of the gift-card for that very first time in the check out in the cafe. I had been provided a bill displaying the available stability of the card was just $41.66. I'd never opened it. Where's the extra $8.64? Personally I think individuals are being scammed by these prepaid gift cards. The customer paid $4.95 in advance for that $50 card. I can just use $41.66. This isn't the very first time I've had this sort of problem having a prepaid gift card.
