My son received this "gift" from a family member. After being charged $11.90 for doing nothing, we tried to activate the card. No can do, it says that they can't verify identity. Likely—by the time they verify the identity, all of the money will be used on the card. Do yourself a favor, if you want to give cash as a gift, mail it as it will have a better chance of arrival to the intended person rather than be sucked away in outrageous fees.
