Mtge Scam

Recently applied for mortgage at T D Bank. Took all my paper work to the Mtge person at the local Branch to have it faxed... While there, the sign advertised a 4% rate. My papers were showing a 4.25%. Don't assume anything...

I found out the hard way that I had signed an agreement that if I withdrew my App for any reason, or that if I didn't answer all the myriad requests for paper work that I was now responsible for a 1/2 % of the loan I was applying for, in my case $1750 BE CAREFUL They are trying to make up for their credit card losses (my opinion)

I knew I would be responsible for the credit report and appraisal (i would put off the appraisal until I was sure they were going to give me the loan) not a good idea in this case. They advertised a $400 appraisal fee, they didn't say add $125 for a condo.

I feel like I was mugged!!!
