I am complaining about, and questioning the legality of, the method CBR has of contacting their clients. They apparntly have access to all phomr numbers at any given address, or building. Today they called my 82 year old neighbor, woke her from a much needed deep slepp and tried to badger her into giving them MY phone number (which they have). Given her age and ner health they have frightened her. She is a resident of my building snd does know me.

I have NEVER used her as a reference, never used her phone, nor address to contact anyone, Does the highly abused Homeland Security Act extend so far as to allow non-government companies to invade our privacy in this manner. This is not the first time I have run into this practice. I myself have been receiving calls, from a collection agency, for a former resident whom I know only by a name on a mailbox. This man never had a phone so this company badgered xeveral of us at the same address. Does anyone know if this is legal; I would like to know
