I made a payment arrangement for my auto loan last week to make a double payment on May 6th. I rec'd a call this morning (4/26) & they said I couldn't make that arrangement & I needed to have at least 1 payment in by April 29th. I told them I don't get paid until May 6th & I already made an arrangement. It apparently doesn't matter to them & after speaking to a supv. I still need to make a payment by the 29th. I realize that this is a loan & needs to be paid back but I am willing to do a double payment when I get paid. I asked the person what would happen if I don't get the money in time & they said "obviously you can't afford the car" and proceeded to ask what color was the car, where was the car now, etc. What happened to being customer service friendly & trying to work w/someone to pay the debt. It's not like I'm trying to get out of paying them, just want to pay the double payment & get back on track!
