Jackson Hewitt Tax Preperation - Scott Leader Franchisee Gives Incorrect Dates for Accelerated Loans Delaying Payment

ON April 7th, I went into Jackson Hewitt's Fairmount office, had them prepare my taxes and asked for an accelerated loan check to be issued. I was quoted a range of 8-15 days to receive the cashiewrs check from their main branch on Brewertown Rd in Syracuse NY. This time frame was quoted by 2 individuals at the Fairmount office. My printed forms from Jackson Hewitt clearly give a date range of anticipated Check release of April 16th to April 23rd. On the 24th, I still had nor received my check. I called the office and was told that the range was business days. This information doesn't correlate to what is printed on the forms Jackson Hewitt provided to me. It is now the 28th, and I still have not received my check and I still have not received any information from Jackson Hewitt regarding the time frame, being told to "just continue calling... We update the system all the time."

In the interim, I have had to put my life on hold waiting for a substantial refund that. If I had not requested AND PAID FOR an accelerated check would have directly deposited by the IRS within 4 weeks of the actual filing date. This was a $100.00 rip-off and the franchisee is claiming no contendre'.
