Made fraud claim against me

A few years ago, I opened an account with them only having a 70-75 dollars balance, now I am getting calls from some law firm saying that I owe 3000, because they made a fraud claim against me, but they want at least 1000 to settle out of court, it didn't have my updated address to serve this so called summons... Is this even possible. Can they do that?
