Ripoff we cannot get a loan like we want because of credit report

We were having financial difficulty and we were late, but not that late. We went into foreclosure and it was very upsetting since they did not work with us. We were selling the house and going to buy another. They put on our credit report that we went from 30 days late to 120 no, 60 or 90 days late, so therefore in the process of selling and buying we had to let the house we wanted go because of that. We had no idea there are other things. Also I am just so disgusted with the whole thing. Their customer service is a crock.
