Ocwen
REPORTED ME 30 days LATE because I paid them off EARLY!

I have had so many problems with Ocwen that I don't even feel like writing it all down... AGAIN! THANK GOD we are no longer with them!!! We refinanced last year and our loan was sold off to Awful-wen, Oh, I meant Ocwen.

Several weeks later we were denied credit at a local pool dealer. (We have perfect credit!) I had a copy of our credit report sent to us and THERE IT WAS... OCWEN reported us 30 days late when we were no longer with them! We paid them off and a few days AFTER we paid them off, (ON TIME as always) they reported us 30 days late!!! FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS I disupted this reporting. Ocwen kept sending some b.S. Generic response. The credit bureau kept saying that Ocwen was not responding to their requests for verification.

So I was stuck in the middle since Equifax and Experian said they could do nothing if Ocwen didn't FIX their mistaken 30 day late. Went back and forth with Ocwen for more months and finally it was removed, BUT, not only did Experian remove our 30 day late, they deleted our whole perfect mortgage history! They told me they could not put our prefect credit history back on our file until Ocwen responds to verify that it belongs on our report.

JESUS CHRIST, we gave up on that one. Ocwen blamed our Title Company for not signing the pay off check as their reason for reporting us late since they said they had to return the check for signature!!! TOTAL B.S. I notified the title company and they are now suing Ocwen for slander! Ocwen blamed them for the 30 day late.

I am very aware of the runaround with the idiot 800# customer service reps and how you cannot get a live person to discuss disputes at Ocwen, you must leave a message and HOPE they call back. Well people... I have a direct number that I got from a supervisor. I hate to give it out because he was the only intelligent human being there, BUT, if you cannot get ahold of anyone else there, what can you do? So, here it is people, he has evening hours:
