Rips Off Customers. As a Courtesy!

I had never bounced a check for over 25 years same account with Chase! Then Chase bank paid an automatic large draft that was presented before it was due by the payee, causing my account to become overdrawn. They should have returned it and my account would have been fine. They called it a "courtesy" since I had a long standing good relationship with them. Then that same day they bounced or "returned" for insufficient funds much smaller checks that would had cleared if they had not paid this draft. Each time charging a big fee.

So much for "courtesy due to my good relationship" The fraud dept did not notify me or ask me if I wanted this courtesy nor did they also pay the smaller ones. The resulting overdraft fees caused others to bounce and by the time I found out I was several hundred in arrears. They charged hundreds in fees This all happened over a Holiday weekend. I paid them and resolved the issue as soon as I found out. They rewarded me by closing the account and keeping my deposited money. Currently saying they won't release it for 30 days! Gotta love the way they reward you for being a good customer. Watch out not so good customers if this is how they treat me look out!
