Unethical Collection Procedure

In August I obtained a notice from Paul J. Hooten in regards to a debt owed for $4700.00 from Related Plastic Surgeona. I approached them-and work individual explained it had been as a result of statement for my boy that sustained in 1992 consequently of the car crash, that the insurance provider refused, plus attention, unique cost was $1780. They stated I had been offered in 1998 in Farmingdale, NY, I'd no remembrance of actually being offered - easily was offered I'd have experienced my evening in courtroom! They obtained a court-order from Nassau County to follow your debt.in receiving a backup in the courtroom the support processor mentioned the documents were "offered" to some high exotic haired 21-year old man, who I actually donot have a that would be. I named an attorney and he approached them to stay the initial debt for $1780, he obtained a call-back from Hooten declaring that Associate Cosmetic Surgeons wouldn't move from $4700. Today they've eliminated so far as placing three balances on-hold. I can't spend some of my or my dad's expenses - therefore under discomfort I'm compelled to pay for the $4700 simply to obtain a launch! Just how can they escape with such methods? I'm likely to place another criticism in using the Attorneygeneral's workplace!
