Ripoff forced me into foreclosure Orange

I fell behind two months on my mortgage payment. After the third month came, I was $1800 behind. I sent them a check for $600 and they sent it back saying they would not accept my payment since it was not the full amount. I was trying to figure out where I was going to get the money to pay it. My family was not able to help.

I was now up to $2100 behind, I called to make payment arrangements by paying half one month and the the other half the next month. They refused to do that. I received a letter about mitigation. I contacted them to see if they could help. Wrong. They didn't seem like they wanted to help. Oh sure he looked into it but I guess I had going out then coming in by $50. One thing that got me on the letter was it stated that they will help people that lost ther job. Duh!!! How are the going to do that with no money coming in!!!

He told me that I was slated for foreclosure. I asked him how much did I owe and he said $2300 plus attorneys costs. I asked him how much that was and he said he didn't know much it was but got me in contact with someone who could tell me.

I talked to the person and she sent me a fax with the amount. After getting the fax my mouth just dropped. The amount read just under $5000. There was no way that I was going to be able to come up with that kind of money. I was lost.

Ameriquest Mortgage would not help me out one bit. I would have never of had to let my house got to foreclosure if they would have accepted my payment offer. All they saw was $. I also had to file bankruptcy because of this. My marriage started to fall apart.

The only thing that saved us was that my sister bought a house for us to live in and now we are paying the mortgage on it under her name. I will never go back to them. They also have a commercial out about helping people out. I guess I missed that one.

I wanted to see if there was a way to try and sue them because of this. Now my credit sucks and who knows when I will be able to get a loan with a decent APR. Plese help me anyone.
