HUD "Tracing" Practice a SCAM www.hud. Gov/offices/hsg/comp/refunds/index. Cfm

Like many others here I saw the ad in the news paper stating that positions were needed in regaurds to HUD housing. So I called. Got the same line of B.S. As everyone else about how I was going to fill the last slot for california. The amount they asked for is what threw up a red flag. But I thought ok, even tho I have always been told you should NEVER EVER have to pay for setting up a home based business I thought it was merely other people being paranoid.

The fact that HUD is mentioned in the news paper ad is what I can honestly say baited me right in. Its thru the goverment so it must be legit. Funny how they NEVER mention anything else in phone conversations, which I may add are vague as hell.

So I get my packet and opened it. Immidiately red flags went up when I opened it to have a thin pamplet and a single 3.5 floppy disk fall out. What on earth was the $98.00 for?! Shipping was only $1.52! Being an optimist I thought, well ok. Let just see what it entailed. I start reading and within 2 minutes I already get that "oh no, what did I just get suckered into" feeling. Well, not only do they make very clear they are in no way actually affiliated with HUD or the US Goverment, but essentially everything you do, is done through free online resources.
