Retaliatory Fees

Our friend and that I have now been customers of (nee) Smith Barney for more than 15 years. Using the pension of our longtime Financial Consultant and his alternative by one Stephen Gottlieb, and also the following purchase of cruz Barney by Morgan Stanley, we were put through a decreasing degree of support and a growing degree of costs. Our companion withdrew her considerable opportunities in December. I had been surprised to locate in January, without admonishment, that MSSB had taken yearly costs from all of my balances, anything they'd never completed before. The ultimate straw: a week ago my friend published me a check (of significantly less than $500) to be able to shut her leftover money-market account; once the check was offered for cost, MSSB instantly subtracted the anuual fee from her account, evoking the check to become an overdraft. We were equally charged overdraft charges. Within our efforts to speak, it's become apparent that Stephen Gottlieb thinks that such retaliation creates great customer relationships.
