Pital One Visa, ripoff, cruel, dishonest, crooked ruthless people

We had moved out of state for a better job and also because my stepdaughter was sexually assaulted. We went through hell fighting to protect her. I had gotten behind on my payments and I did let them know about the situation. They called everyday, nights, and weekends. When I recieved my income tax i had paid off their outrageous fee's. And got caught up on my bill, so I thought. When I recieved my next bill it said that I owed another $700 dollars.

When I looked closely at the bill, they had added on late charges and overlimit fee's for the previous last 2 month's. How can this be if I caught everything up the month before. Late charges and overlimit fee's totaling nearly $500 for 2 month's.

I wrote to them and asked why and all I got was a another bill with the notice's you get on the back of your bill's.

They are crooked ruthless people. Do not apply for anything for Capital One.

When we went through a credit counselor, and tried to get our bill caught up and interest lowered they said we would be able to lower our interest rate to 0 to 7%. He called back and said Capital One would only lower it to 15% and because they were world wide they could do anything they wanted to.

We had set up payments with them to take care of our bill and had called back and said Capital refused the amount and wanted another $4 a month, how ridiculous.
