Dropped the ball and don't bother to call back after weeks of calls

We took out a mortgage to refinance our home with this company. They hooked us up with a bank and we had an appraisal. The appraiser left out rooms, and actually put wrong rooms in our appraisal - i.E. Rooms that were not from our house - and I filed a rebuttal to the appraisal based on a lot of problems with the appraisal which had just been done less than a year before. The mortgage guy seemed nice, and said he had the answer to my rebuttal but just never called or got back to us. My husband has called several times, and I've called several times. I finally called the Baltimore office and was told they would call me back, but never did. It's wild!? It's been months at this point, and we are no where. We've wasted $400 on this appraisal, and it's just not professional. I have to seek help tomorrow with government agencies to try to get some help for remuneration for the $400. Unreal.
