Prime One Benefits
Ripoff! Are There Any Class Action Lawsuits? Took advantage of someone who could not afford to lose $187

Business & Finance

My story is exactly the same as everyone else's. Prime One Benefits promised me a credit card for a one time fee of $187, which they took in June. After several telephone calls, etc., still no joy. I was told that I had to return the packet with the useless coupons before my refund would be returned, and that I "WAS ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND". They signed for the package at the beginning of September '03. I wrote again in October/November, still no responses, refund, anything!

Today I spoke with Frank and Stephen, who was supposed to be a customer service manager (ha ha), who told me that I was not eligible for a refund.

I believe that if I have not received the goods or service promised, there is no question about being "Eligible" - I am entitled to my money back. Obviously this is something they do not do. I've been trying for almost six months to get my money back, and now they change their story.

I am intending to refer this on the the Attorney General in my home state and also in New York, as well as trying the Federal Trade Commission - but I would like to know if anyone has filed a class action lawsuite against this company. If so, I would like to join.
