I received on September 25 two mails from American Express, one for a pre-approved Blue American Express Card and one for pre-approved Gold American Express Card. Being on my way to establish my credit history (I have been in the U. S for 4 years and this takes time when you are a new comer), and despite the $125.00 annual fees required, I decided to apply online with the code provided to me, for the Gold American Express Card.
