Rip off dishonest fraudulent billing destroy my credit do not respond They sold my account to a collection company by the name of Collect X

I contacted DMCCB to let them know a credit account from their corporation was falsley placed on my account in error. I also shared with them that I felt it was a simple mistake that could easily be corrected.

My credit report stated the account belonged to a person with my same exact name first and last on the same street name as myself but a few blocks away. I then verified the address in the phone book their was in fact a person with my first name and last name, same street name, same city, same zipcode just blocks away with a current phone number as well.

I thought a simple identity error when cross referenced on my credit report, because I am aware that credit reports capture AKA name sake as well.

I was closing on my new home at this time and since I could not get this matter cleared up in a timely fashion the lender with drew from my pre-approved loan and out of desperate measures was forced to use another bank with higher rates and unfortunately a much larger mortgage payment then anticipated. The loan closed in November and we moved in on Thanksgiving day of 2002. I was also five months pregnant at this time in late October, my baby was born four weeks early in early March. I don't know if it was caused by this stress, but I am certain it did not help. I struggle every month to make my mortgage payment. I have tried to contact this company by phone, mail etc. They sold my account to a collection company by the name of Collect X.
