Residential relief foundation
Guaranteed to modify home loan. Only managed to rip me off by charging 1495.00 to do nothing

Business & Finance

I received a letter from the Residential Relief Foundation. I sounded too good to be true and I should have known that it was, but being desperate to save my family home I fell for their tactics. I ended up paying out to them $1495.00 for them to do a loan modification. That was in July. Have not heard a word from them since they took my money.in the mean time the bank did a modification but it doesn't matter because I can't afford the new payment. You get penalized if you don't live in the home. I have since been in touch with the attorney general in the state where the home is located and they are continuing to work on the matter. At the time I didn't realize that loan modifications shouldn't cost any money. What an expensive lesson to learn.
