I feel that paypal is a scam!

I feel like pay pal is a scam becausethey will promptly take your money form your bank account but not credit your accounts promtly! They claim to have to process your transactions yet it only takes moments for them to take your money, and more than a week to pay you your money or even just make it available in your account! I feel it would be faster and safer to just mail your checks or even cash the old fashioon way!
