Account - Finance hearing aids

The people I bought my hearing aid from recommended I finance through GE-Care More. I am 85 years old. It was supposed to be no interest. Several months later, when I wanted to pay it off, it was much higher than the zero interest. I sent them a check for the settlement amount and marked check "if full payment of my account # and enclosed it with a letter which also said "in full payment of my account." They cashed the check. They are still sending me bills and calling me every hour from early morning to late at night. I just called them back and went up two supervisory levels. They acknowledge cashing the check but say, I still owe the balance due. I don't know how much more of this I can take. Can you help me?
