Mortgage Payment Rejected as Foreclosure Began, Extra Fees Unknown

Like many of the reports I have read on here, We were 3 months behind on the Mortgage I was able to get the past due amount together and I sent it in with my regular monthly statement. I was told that I would have to reinstate my loan through the lawyers. This was the first few days that I was in foreclosure. I called the lawyer and told them that I had sent Wells Fargo a check for the past due balance.

They told me to keep checking with them so I kept calling and calling. I was told by different employees that they would probably sent my check back to me and I would be charged for fees and they would be around 400 dollars or more. The lawyer said that I was lucky that I got right on it because Wells Fargo hadn't filed the foreclosure papers yet! I'm still waiting on Wells Fargo to find out how much extra I will have to pay!
