Payment posted to wrong & expecting me to make up the different for their mistake!

I have my payments coming out of the checking account automatically and to secure that my insurance would be paid on time. For a year I paid for a car not moving full price, I finally got anther, and it broke down, too. Therefore, I cancel it and then I got another car and I asked how it would cost me to reinstate my insurance. They gave the amount and it was to go towards the car insurance and they put it somewhere else and then said I needed to pay more for their mistake. The said someone did not put a note so I much pay for his or her mistake. I could deal with them no more. I kept going in and asking what I thought was the right questions. However, I still did not get the right answers. I was a very unhappy customer. Because they had the power to do what they wanted because they have most customers out of all the insurance companies so all I was - was a number so what that is the way the ball bounces when you the big dog on the block. Who cares because I can find another sucker just you like is the way they made me feel. What they didn’t know is that I had made arrangements for the insurance to come out of an account that only carried enough to keep the account open for the insurance to come out of the account each month. So when they decided to change the amount without before letting me know it bounced costing me. That is not the way to do business. What their problem in the head office!!!
