Retracts offers sent to their customers

On October 22, I received a letter informing me that an offer sent to me a couple months prior regarding Cash Back at Grocery, Drug, and Discount stores was inadvertently sent me and not available based on my account status. I called Customer Service on October 23 at 11:45 am EST and spoke with Lisa, a customer service rep, who basically kept me on hold for five minutes and told me that there was nothing she could do.

I am extremely upset. When I received this offer in the mail, I even had to call in to participate in it, and nothing was said to me at the time, that I was not eligible. I have been a member since 1996 and my credit is perfect. Since thier customer service in no way accommodated me and could not tell me why I am ineligible for this offer, I will be transferring my account elsewhere. I think this was purposely done, due to the fact that I specifically used my card to make the type of purchases that were included in the offer and increased my debit, and when it was time for them to credit my account, they decide to send a letter stating that I was ineligible in the first place. As far as I am concerned that is bad business practice as well as horrible customer service and I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
