Ripoff Another Person out of $79.95 They are thiefs and money sucking leeches

CIC Credit Monitor billed my Visa $79.95 on September 30th. I was looking at my bank statement (online) when I notice it. I then gave them a call and asked them what I was being billed for and he said it was because I didn't cancel within 30 days and I did not see anything that said I would be billed for a whole year membership if I did not cancel within the 30 day FREE trial period. I felt as if I got taken advantage of by this sneaky company.

BTW, those of the people who keep the one year membership because they feel it's too late should know they will be billed for the following year if they do not cancel. I was told this only because I asked otherwise I wouldnt have been aware of it, AGAIN.

I then called back to make sure they cancel my account for the one year membership and see if I can get a refund becuse I didn't consciously agree to that plan. The girl (Naomi) who I spoke with cancelled my plan over the phone and told me I would get a notification notice through email within 48 hours and the money would be refunded to my account within 7 to 10 day.

I'm gonna keep my eyes open and see if they stand to their word and refund my money. This is one website or so called business I would not recommend to any of my friends or any one who is looking to get a credit report. They are thiefs and I can see I wasnt the only one who was taken advantage of.

I can only hope that some kind of legal action can be taken against these crooks who falsely advertise or hide the extra fees that will apply in small print or somewhere in a long ass agreement form that they know everyone is not going to read in its entierty. Well here hoping for the best and hope not too many other people get reeled in by this dishonest company (money sucking leaches).
