Greentree/Conseco Lying Harrassing Rude

We have been with Greentree/Conseco since 1996. We have had finacial problems since 1998 when we had to file bankruptcy (Chapter 13). This summer, our son almost DIED from kidney failure. He was in the hospital for a month. My husband and I took turns staying with him, which meant my husband (our only income) took medical leave from work.

I called and explained the situation. I was told that they would be able to do a "rate reduction" to help us out. We have gotten nothing but rude, hateful phone calls ever since.

My husband talked to one woman, Paula Cleveland, and she had the nerve to tell him that he should have been working while our son was in the hospital. It was explained to her that the doctors had requested that we be there and not be more than five minutes away (we live 50 miles from thr hospital). She said that she would have kept on working anyway. She even had the nerve to ask why we were purchasing our son's medications!

We received a call this week and was told by Charles McGriff, who claimed to be a manager, that they would not and were never going to give us the rate reduction because they had helped us before. We are one month behind. We owe for September. October is just now due.

I also found out recently they have not even been applying our payments to the principal, not even a small precentage. It is all going straigt to the interest. How are we suppose to get the principal paid off if they are applying the payments?!?!
