Delta Financial Corporation
This company asks for large, upfront fees to be wired, via Western Union, for loans

After receiving a loan offer from this company, they informed me that I would need to wire them $1.780.00 via Wester Union or use a personal credit card to receive the loan. This was immediately a red flag to me. I checked out the company and discovered that Delta Financial Corp went bankrupt a few years ago. This scam artist has taken on the identity of this company and is now scamming unsuspecting souls. When you call their 888#, it is forwarded to a remote location. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When they sent mail to Delta's website address, it was returned.
Business was closed. The website spells checks, "cheques", so I suspect they are operating from Canada or the U.K. DO NOT FALL PREY TO THIS SCAM! I didn't give them a dime, but I felt compelled to warn others. I have also filed a report with the FTC.
