Federal ripoff Can't do anything about transfer to Ocwen and scared out of my mind

We just received notification last week that our mortgage will be transfered from Option One to Ocwen. I did a search today to find out more about Ocwen and was shocked to find this site and others, full of complaints about them.

I called Ocwen today to verify the address I will be sending my September 1st payment to, only to be told that I shouldn't make any payment at all. They say that I am not yet in the system, and won't be until August 31st at the earliest. They also suggested that I not make my payment until I am contacted by them, sometime by mid September.

They did say that I was proteced by a federal law called RESPA, and that my account was in "seasoning". They promised I would receive no late notices or fees, nor would my credit be affected. But I say No way!

I contacted Option One and will make my payment early to them, so it will be transfered automatically to Ocwen. Hopefully, I will at least be alright until October, but I am a nervous wreck and have been pacing the house all day, but there just isn't anything I can do to prevent the transfer. Does anyone have any advice for us?
