We originally paid $2800 for Choice National to do a modification for us on our home in April. It took them 2 months to even contact the bank, even though we got the documents to them right away. We were finally contacted that June and told things were going well. The first few months they kept in touch with us, but around August we stopped hearing from them and they stopped returning calls and emails. They also stopped contacting our bank. I took over and have done everything with the banks ever since. Now they are closed and I lost all of my money, and I am not sure what to do next. I am going to look into it further and see if there is any way to get any money back. What were we thinking?
