I was called by this law firm out of the blue. I missed the initial call and called them back. I asked why they were calling. The individual said he could not pull up my information. He asked for my phone number (one I will be shutting off anyway because I bought a new phone yesterday) and I gave it to him. I repeatedly asked why he was calling me - still no straight answer. He asked for my name and I gave him my first name only. I asked for the name of the firm - he said Mitchell N. Kay. He then put me on hold while he said he was looking up my information. I then went on line and found a number of complaints about the firm and their scare tactics and about the class action suit they lost in Pennsylvania. I am also a retired federal agent that formally investigated fraud. When he came back on the line saying he still could not find "the file" I told him what I found on the internet, and told him about my former profession. He quickly decided he did not want to talk anymore. These are the same kind of people (credit collection and law firms) who harassed my family after my parents passed away. Beware of these vultures.
