Unfair Fees and NSF charges

I am so sick & tired of banks having the authority to debit my account any time they please and without notice. My husband had his own account which was over drawn. Because he is on my account, they took the funs from my account to pay off his - Which is fine except... Nobody notified us! And so Friday I went to the gas station, made a couple of purchases. Later that night my husband ran out to pick up something for the baby when low & behold our account was overdrawn??? I logged into the online banking to see why. They had a "debit" for a random amount pending with no further information. I called customer service to see why. She said that they will not know until it posts but we can definitely have it reversed if appropriate & that we would not be charged over draft fees. Well, that money was taken to pay off my husbands account. He called & talked to them, they agreed to put back the majority of the balance & assured us both that we would not be charged any over draft fees for anything that might have posted, although they saw nothing posting at that time. I should have known better! That Friday there were no charges but you guessed it... Monday morning there were THREE NFS charges. I called the bank to have these removed in light of the situation but the arrogant child on the other end of the phone was not only unwilling to listen but refused to make good on what we were told. I pointed out to him that the charges, had they gone through in the order they were charged that there would not have been an over draft charge. He said that it is bank policy to choose the order of processing. I pointed out that it was conveniently processed in their favor... To give them more NSF fees & ones I want to reiterate, should not have been there in the first place. He couldn't care less. Such fabulous customer service to go along with their dignified business ethnics.
