Mistreated and ripped off

I will add my name to the list of those abused by Fairbanks Capitol.

Fairbanks took over my mortgage 10 years ago shortly after I filed Chapter 13. They immediately tried to foreclose, but fortunately I was protected by bankruptcy. That did not stop them from trying to add several thousand dollars to their claim.

During my bankruptcy Fairbanks refused to send payment receipts or coupons. They claimed they did not send correspondence to people in bankruptcy.

After my bankruptcy was discharged, they still refused to send payment receipts, or coupons. I called many times to request a payment book, but I was told that because of the bankruptcy they would not send receipts or coupons. Every time I called I explained that the bankruptcy had been discharged. They always told me that they would "take care of it".

I soon found out why I did not receive receipts or coupons. Fairbanks changed the address of their payment processing center 3 times while I was trying to get receipts/coupons sent to me. My payments were being received, (I had certified mail receipts) but not processed.

Finally after almost a year I started getting receipts/coupons. Then I got a notice that my payment had not been received. I had the certified mail receipt to show that it had been received. Somehow the check "disappeared" after Fairbanks received it. I sent a copy of the mail receipt and a new check and they finally (after months of telephone calls) reversed the late charges. They did not however remove the 30 late notice from my credit report.

Then for no reason they stopped sending receipts/coupons. When I called to ask why I was told that it was because of my bankruptcy. At that time the bankruptcy had been discharged almost 10 years before. I was sent a special form to request payment coupons. I sent the form to them by fax and mail 4 times. I called every month for a year. Still I am not receiving payment receipts/coupons.

I spoke to a representative at Fairbanks last week to again request payment receipts/coupons. I was told that I was not receiving the coupons because they had an order on my account to not contact me. I told the representative that I had been contacted many times, by mail and phone. She said she ordered the receipts/coupons to be sent to me immediately. She also referred me to a web site (www.fairbankscapitol.com/ccnet/) to get my payment coupons. If you are curious, give this site a try. It doesn't have anything to do with Fairbanks Capitol Corporation. But if you are in need of marital aids or penis enlargement, this is the place to go.

I currently have my house on the market. I think that is the only way to escape Fairbanks Capitol.
