Portfolio Recovery left a message on my phone today (11/24/09) to call them regarding a debt collection. When I called they asked if anyone named "Brent" had my phone number. I explained that I alone have had my phone number for over 40 years and nobody named Brent ever had access to it. I don't even know anyone named Brent.in addition I have no outstanding debts!
I am concerned how they got my phone number. They claimed that they would remove it from their files. I am concerned that they have my phone number and will begin some sort of scam. I don't have time for that nonsense. And no proof that they have removed my phone number.
