Did I mention he loves to hear himself talk? He is just like the skunk from Looney Tunes, Pepe Le Pew. Despite all the man perfume he wears, he still cannot hide his own stench.

I got backstabbed by him. He won't stand up for you, when you're down because loyalty is not in his vocabulary. Deven is the ultimate mercenary. He will replace you. I have seen this happen to fellow executives and friends who have been loyal to him for years. That is why no CEO at a portfolio company stays long on his watch, and no CEO works for him twice. If you got screwed over by Deven Parekh and are reading this, welcome to the club. You are not the first.

If you are considering working at one of his companies or for him, I would ask yourself this questions, "Is this too good to be true"? And I would ask Deven this, "When was the last time you spoke to your wife?"

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. If a man cannot maintain a faithful relationship with his wife, what does that tell you about him?
