Definitely a ripoff

GCS is definitely a ripoff. We paid them $3,495 back in September and have been handed off to approxomately 6 different people between then and July (the last time we heard from anyone).
We still don't have a loan modification, we can't get any answers by email, the phone numbers we have are all disconnected, and the money that was in the account in Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust - it's gone.
I called RMB&T to see about getting our money refunded since GCS hasn't done anything about getting us a loan modification, in spite of having had our money for over a year (and they've never contacted our mortgage company in all that time). That's how I found out the money was gone, the account is closed, and I'm not the one who closed it, I can tell you that.
I emailed the real estate broker who referred us to GCS and he said he would call someone and have them call us, but no one ever got in touch with us, including the broker. My husband and I are working with our mortgage company on a loan modification now (and we had to miss 4 payments in order to force the mortgage company to even talk to us about a loan modification).
I don't know if we'll get any of our money back or not. I really doubt it since GCS is so good at avoiding their customers (or can I say "marks"?).
