Register, and you give up all your personal data, for life

I'd had a prepaid debit card with this company in the past, but I got tired of all the fees that they charge so I sent them emails canceling the account. Or so I thought. What I didn't know, and what they don't tell you, is that once you give them your personal identification information, including your SSN, they keep it forever. Granted, that might be listed in some boilerplate somewhere, but I've never seen it. And according to Manager Tanya, ID # 1156, they keep all of your personal information forever, even after you've cancelled any and all connections with this company. Also, according to Manager Tanya, this company is not registered with any Secretary of State, of any State, to do business in that State, and has no registered agent, which is required by law in the state of Oklahoma, for instance, just in case you decide you want to sue this company and serve them with the necessary papers in order to give them proper notice of your lawsuit. But the most obvious problem is that to be able to access how much money is left in the account, you have to give them your personal information, which they believe is their's forever. So my advice to anyone who cares, is that this company is worse than just an ordinary ripoff. Do not do any business with them whatsoever. They mine your personal data, and then refuse to relinquish that data when you sever all ties with them. And I'm still trying to get from them the service agreement I entered into with them that allows them perpetual ownership of my personal information. So everyone beware. And if you must use a gift card, or give a gift card, make sure it requires no personal information from the recipient to be given over to the card issuer, in order for the card to work. But you better believe, I will do all I can to make the lives of those at Only1Visa, absolutely miserable.
